LEAVING ON A JET PLANE
Hello peeps! Hoboy, do I have great news for you guys. By some divine intervention, Momma and I was whisked away to KL to join my Tok Bah and Pak Teh for a special mission. I wasn't so sure of the mission, but what would they tell a 3 year old anyway?
All I knew was when Momma initially asked me whether I'd like to take a trip with her on a train, I was ecstatic coz I still remember my first train ride last holiday season. But somehow, there were changes of plans and early Saturday morning, we left before the crack of dawn to the airport. I was befuddled at first, but somehow I was very well-behaved and even cheery even though I'm not a morningperson kid.

Israel pun Israel la Momma, ekonomi memang dah meleset pun kan....?
After Tok Ma and Momma performed their subuh prayers at the surau, Tok Ma left us to fend for ourselves coz she had to attend her usual religious class. We had half an hour to kill before our flight at 6.45 am so what else is there to do when the Golden Arch is right in front of the departure hall? Ordered the big breakfast konon but the eggs were c*appy and Momma even complains of her coffee. I think she missed her own brew of coffee already and feeling c*appy herself.
At 6.45 sharp, we got ourselves into the departure hall and I even enjoyed looking at our bags going through the scan. We waited for a few minutes before we could board the plane, one reason being Momma wasn't so sure what to do with the tickets that looked exactly like shopping receipts to us. When she finally found our IDs, we were one of the last to board the plane.
I was very nervous while we walked towards our flight and was petrified at the sight of the orange and white plane. It wasn't that big, I've seen trucks bigger than that. I commented that I was afraid of flying on a plane coz it doesn't have wheels. Momma had to ask me whether I was OK a few times. When we almost reached the stairs of the plane, the engine suddenly revved up and spooked me big time! I held on Momma's legs until I was dragged a little, and I begged Momma to lift me up. Hehe, poor Momma. I didn't let go until she found our seats.

This was my face before we lifted off. I wasn't amused at all when Momma told me that akak Awan Dania was in front of us showing us the safety maneouver. She couldn't fool me. Akak Awan Dania wears a different coloured uniform lah.
Boring!
I wouldn't let my Momma release her hug around me until I felt my tummy settled. I was very quiet but I sent her my signals through my askance looks. Very icy, I tell you!

Not until the lights to buckle on went out did I relax for a bit. And by golly, was I surprised to see how high we were! I was so high, I didn't realize I shouted "Bye bye Penang!" very loudly when everyone around us were dead quiet! Haha, buat malu kompeni je.
The plane ride took about an hour, so I had plenty of time to spare. Lucky I brought my own backpack containing my books and snacks (and shhhh.... a diaper! how embarrassing!) but Momma gave me a cool pen and a cute notepad to scribble on to practice my letters and numbers. I have perfected my number 6 while on that plane. Hihihihi.
We reached our destination a little before 8 am. Was a lil irritated by that akak who told me to put my table back to the original position. Momma had to hold my notepad for me while I write. While the plane touched down, I didn't even blink! Still engrossed with my writing you see. Sedar-sedar, everybody was getting off already.
We couldn't resist posing in front of the carrier. I wasn't in the mood to smile, I wanna make my Japanese cutie face (small sepet eyes, puckered lips) but Momma wanted me to show my teeth instead. So I came off looking like I'm snarling in the picture. Actually I was about to tell Momma that there were some guys in fluorescent vests with walkie-talkies walking towards us, most probably to shoo us away but luckily Momma got up before they reached us and we walked away fast-fast and buat bodo ajer. Lalalalalala....

I don't know what it is, but when Momma took this shot, it came out very funny. All the colours seem off and unreal. Why ah? Issit the air of early morning in Subang? We've never been out at this hour. Or issit my tak mandi pagi face that spoils the picture?
Momma thought I'd be excited to see some choppers but naaah, I was non-chalant. I've seen choppers Ma, at the air force base where Uncle Zam brought me once. She was like, so annoying lah. Like when I was busy doodling in the plane, she kept telling me to look outside and watch the clouds. I impatiently said, "Nuha tahulah...", like - I know what clouds look like, Ma. Duh.
The airport was eerily quiet. We felt like we're entering a twillight zone or something. That didn't stop me from being notty.
The conveyer belt wasn't moving, so don't worry that I might have tripped and hurt myself. I know how to take care of myself, thank you very much (except when that plane engine revved too loud of course, scary noises get me)
Since nobody was looking (coz nobody was there!) we took a couple more shots.
My Pak Teh was already waiting for us in his car, so it was a quick pick up at the exit. We had another breakfast at Kelana Jaya and off straight to the hotel we went. But that's another story for another day perhaps. More stories coming up, so stay tuned!
