60 MINUTES OF FAME

My Tok Bah is a very low profile man, but lately he' getting more news coverage, so I guess what he does must be quite important.

This was us watching him getting his first 60 minutes fame on Bernama TV a couple of weeks ago. Momma, Abah and Nenek were glued to the tv and it irritated me so much so I wanted to watch my cartoon, you see. But it was pretty exciting for us coz all this while, we only got few seconds of him in the news or a picture in the business section in the papers.

So this was totally new to us. And my Tok Bah was talking funny as well - he spoke almost completely in Indonesian slang! Haha, momma jokes that my Tok Bah is indeed multi-lingual. He speaks in English, Arabic, Bahasa Melayu Utara and Bahasa Indonesia. He doesn't speak proper Bahasa Melayu baku like the rest of us, okay!
